Some NBA players have conference calls to discuss details about the restart of the season in Orlando, Florida. The NBA and National Basketball Players Association agrees that players are allowed to stay at home with no punishment when the season starts.
Around 50 players were called to discuss the concerns about the restart in Orlando. Still, formal petitioning was not presented by any group that want to quit the 22-team resumption.
Players have begun to accept the restriction and isolated nature of the Orlando bubble. No visitors were allowed till after the first round of the playoffs which is around seven weeks after the opening of July training camp. Executives and coaches in the NBA are worrying about the adaption of players in an environment that has never experienced, particularly for those teams who are not title contenders.
Players who disagree with the Orlando resumption would not receive any pay for the unattended games. They could be substituted by a substitution player. As for players who tested positive for coronavirus will be replaced as well. The NBA and NBPA are still finalizing the terms of the restart.
